Please take a look at our class blog to take a look at some of the wonderful activities we enjoy in class.

Home Learning Resources

Enrichment Projects

Enrichment tasks will be set every half term on seesaw to encourage the children to work independently or with someone from home to create a piece of work to be proud of. You will find these here We like to let the children choose how they wish to present their work to give them the opportunity to be as creative as they would like.

Miss Osborn will provide weekly homework tasks for the children to complete at home. These will be uploaded onto seesaw at the end of each week and will mainly include one piece of maths homework and one piece of English homework. If you have any issues accessing the homework, or seesaw, please speak to Miss Osborn.

Bug club

Bug Club is also available for your child to access at home, this is a great online reading website with lots of books and quizzes for your child to read and complete at home. On some pages of the book, you will see a green bug with its eyes open. Click on this to answer a question about the book. Children have been given their log in details, however if you require them again please speak to Miss Osborn.

Spelling Frame is a free website with all spelling rules, children can practice the spelling rules and then take a test. children will need to know how to read and spell all of their High Frequency Words by the end of Year 2. Below show the Year 1 and Year 2 high frequency words.
